We rendezvous at the waters edge of the Humacao Nature Reserve’s lagoon. Pure Adventure guide(s) will direct your party to the awaiting kayaks. As the kayaks slip off, the delights of this incredible bird sanctuary begin to unfold. There is no set route. This is free-style kayaking you are entering deep into a pristine, wildlife reserve.
There are many inlets, canals and lagoons to explore among the mangroves. The lagoon teems with wildlife, in the water, on the water, in the mangroves, in the air. Your guides (Marine Biologists) will provide each explorer with a “Bird Identifier” card as they point out and describe the flora and fauna in this unique ecosystem. Your guides will identify species of birds by the sound of their calls.
Later in the trip we will serve light snacks of local, in-season fruits and other tasty treats with bottled water. Once refreshed, the exploration continues where kayakers will see a plethora of sea birds, iguanas sunning on mangrove branches, turtles, many species of fish and land crabs.

Greetings from Alemania
I thought the tour would be ok, but it was extraordinary. Thanks for demonstrating to us an innovative new way of bird watching. But thank you especially for taking the time to explain to us all about the culture, history and nature from P.R. That means a lot for us since we come from a different culture.
Awesome Birds!
